RECIPE: Ashkelon Antelope Roast

We are blessed with multitudes of wildlife where we currently live, including some large herds of antelope. While some people don’t enjoy the taste of wild game, if seasoned and cooked properly it is utterly delicious!

Ashkelon Antelope Roast

Ingredients:

1 antelope roast (approx. 2 lbs)

¼ cup jalapeno infused olive oil

2-3 T. southwest seasoning of your choice (We use Weber Bold Chipotle.)

Instructions:

Thoroughly coat the roast with olive oil. Place in crockpot on low. Sprinkle roast with seasoning. Cook for up to 8 hours or until done. Serve with potatoes and vegetables, or shred to use as taco meat or burrito filler.
