Feasts of the Lord

Most people think that Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and other similar holidays are Jewish Feasts. If a Christian celebrates them, well, he is just being strange, legalistic or dumb. Right? But reading Leviticus 23 makes it clear, these are the LORD’s Feasts. If the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the God and Father of Yeshua (Jesus) our Messiah is who we worship, then we should care when He calls them “MY” Feasts.

Adonai said to Moshe (Moses), “Tell the people of Isra’el: ‘The designated times of Adonai which you are to proclaim as holy convocations are my designated times.’” ~~ Leviticus 23: 1-2

These are the designated times of Adonai, the holy convocations you are to proclaim at their designated times. In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, between sundown and complete darkness, comes Pesach (Passover) for Adonai. On the fifteenth day of the same month is the festival of matzah (unleavened bread); for seven days you are to eat matzah. ~~ Leviticus 23: 4-6
