HRC: Vacations Are Different

Growing up on a farm meant that family vacations never lasted more than 48 hours.  We couldn’t be away from the animals and crops longer than that.  And, in fact, 48 hours was pushing it to the maximum limit, at least in our circumstance.  Unless you have a very reliable and trustworthy neighbor who can adequately look after your property, and make good decisions in your absence, you simply will not be taking that cruise once you start homesteading.
