Tel Aviv Open on Shabbat

Are you aware that the nation of Israel does not have a constitution?  There are very few countries that operate this way, and Israel is one of them.  They make laws and rule on issues without having a foundational document to guide them.  They basically “do what seems right in their own eyes” to paraphrase the Scriptures.

Now, the High Court in Israel has approved a change to the Tel Aviv city bylaws to allow some businesses to operate on the Sabbath.  Wonder what will be next…
