The Word Made Flesh

Moses wrote, by YHWH’s dictation, the first five books of the Bible, aka the Torah.  When people refer to Moses words, they are speaking of the Torah, YHWH’s instructions.  Our Messiah is called the Word Made [into] Flesh, or the living Torah.  So, if the Old Testament, and specifically the Torah, is done away with and irrelevant since Jesus (Yeshua) came, then why would He say this Himself…?

“For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me.  But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?” ~~ John 5: 46-47 (New King James Version)

“If you really believed Moshe, you would believe me; because it was about me that he wrote.  But if you don’t believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?”  ~~ John 5: 46-47 (Complete Jewish Bible)
