Obituary Watch

It’s an age-old joke (pun intended) that you know you’re getting old when your conversations are increasingly about who is sick, who has died, and what someone’s obituary said.  Dear Hubby and I have lived and worked around many elderly people, both in the demographic makeup of the communities we’ve lived in and in the jobs we have held.  Dear Hubby especially has been a blessing to countless elderly people through the years with his strong physical abilities and soft, empathetic heart.  So, unfortunately, we have seen many familiar names and faces within obituaries.  But recently it occurred to me that the random perusal of the death notices I had done in the past had become a weekly (or more) activity.  Getting old?  More so every day, right?  Ahhh…it’s surreal when the adage comes alive in you!  Shalom!

Judah Family in Oklahoma

A bit late on this, but wanted to share.  I didn’t realize until last night that Monte Judah’s wife, Linda, passed away on December 21st.  She was only 60 years old.  Monte and Linda founded Lion and Lamb Ministries in Norman, Oklahoma.  Please pray for this family in their time of grief.

May the Supreme Comforter give you shalom, Monte, Ann, Ephraim and family.  You are loved by your brothers and sisters in Messiah.
