Some days I miss my beloved furry friend very intensely. He passed early in January, but this graphic reminds me of him. When I would snuggle him, being overwhelmed by his adorable self, he would give me a look like “Mom, don’t let the other animals see this. Don’t you know I’m a big dog.” But if he sensed that I was sick or down, he wouldn’t hesitate to come crawl in my lap and pour on the comfort.
What a blessing to have such loyal companionship. Their time with us seems much too short. RIP, friend!
